Bacon Bouquet

Wow, been forever since I updated here. Must fix that 
Me and my sis are now officially running a commission shop on Etsy: www.etsy.com/shop/deliciousnes… - calling ourselves "Bacon Bouquet", Because bacon is delicious. Mmmmm.
We're starting with vector custom portraits and will be expanding out from there. Business has been fairly lively so far, so aside from a few side projects already underway, the store will take up the bulk of my commission time. So if you're interested in commissioning me, please contact me through etsy or to our email at baconbouquet@gmail.com.

Winterfest 2010 Contests

Hi folks,
It's been a while, so to celebrate the Juathuur winter holiday of Thuusuuvilei as well as the release of the Juathuur: One Way or Another in print, I decided that it's finally time for another Juathuur contest! This will be a three-part contest and you may enter one or all of the contests as many times as you like.
The Deadline for all the contests is Midnight, Dec. 31, 2010.

1. FanArt/FanFic Contest
Submit your best Juathuur-themed arts or fics!
Please send your entries to gammyun@hotmail.com with the subject line "contest entry" or something similar
Include in your email:
- your name or handle/alias you want to be known by
- the title of your artwork/fic
- if you would like a return credit link to be included with your submission in the contest gallery, please state the url or email address you would like me to link to.
- by submitting your entry, you agree to let me display your artwork in the eventual contest gallery in the forum. If for any reason you would rather keep your entry private, please let me know in your submission.
- First Prize for the winner will be a signed copy of one of the vols of the Juathuur: One Way or Another print series. There may be additional second or third prizes depending on the amount of entries.
2. Cosplay Contest
Dress up and take a photo of yourself, a friend, or even a semi-compliant pet as a Juathuur character. Photoshopping is allowed if you prefer a more digital approach. The character can be an actual one from the comic or simply juathuur-inspired (i.e. give yourself some crazy tattoos and go to town).
Please send your entries to gammyun@hotmail.com with the subject line "cosplay entry" or something similar
Include in your email:
- your name or handle/alias you want to be known by
- the name/alias of the person or animal in the photo if it is not you.
- the name of the character being cosplayed if applicable
- if you would like a return credit link to be included with your submission in the contest gallery, please state the url or email address you would like me to link to.
- by submitting your entry, you agree to let me display your artwork in the eventual contest gallery in the forum. If for any reason you would rather keep your entry private, please let me know in your submission.

3. Sticky and Squishy's Community Challenge
Between now and the end of December, the intrepid cephalopod pair invites you to work as a community to solve a series of 14 quizzes, puzzles, and challenges. If all 14 of the challenges are completed you will be collectively rewarded with:
2 WEEKS OF DAILY GATECRASH UPDATES (that means 14 comic pages where you would normally get only 6!!!) It will be like the good ol' days of One Way again! If successful, these special update weeks will most likely happen sometime in January.
There may also be additional bonus prizes for certain challenges.
Each new challenge will be handed out after the previous one has been solved. Some challenges will have multiple parts. The first few challenges will be easy, then get harder as they go on.
