Since we've now entered a brand new year I thought I'd give you all an update of my plans for the near and far future of Juathuur.

I'm incredibly excited to have reached this stage of the story. You can imagine how far away it seemed when I first started! A lot is gonna be going down in the upcoming chapters and I hope you'll all stick around for the ride.

One thing I want to be clear about is that the story does have an end and won't be trailing on indefinitely (even I don't have that kind of stamina).  Exactly how long it will take to reach that end and wrap up all of the subplots... well, it depends how I end up pacing things - it could be as early as this spring, or maybe the end of the summer. I'm determined not to drag out the ending unreasonably (though it's gonna be ever so hard to let go!)

Will there be another story arc to follow in the form of a sequel? Tentatively, yes. Or at least, I hope so. I have a rough idea in mind but I haven't fleshed it out yet. All I can say is that it would feature some of the same characters but jumped forward in time a few years.  There will be some new settings and a lot more involvement with the gods.

Anyhoo, I'll try to keep you all posted and share some sketches and ideas related to the sequel. I'm debating making some format changes for it (the big one being going full colour) that I would love to get some opinions/feedback on.
